This time, we wanted to tell the story from the outside in.
The concept, developed by eCatholic and brought to life by our production partners at Spirit Juice Studios, was built around a single idea: eCatholic's technology should be invisible. It's the underlayment, the quiet infrastructure that allows a pastor and his staff to reach Joanna online, so that Joanna can reach her parish in person. Seamless communication. Efficient operations. A parish ready to receive her when she comes looking, not just for community, but for Christ.
The destination was never just a website. It was the altar, the confessional, the parish hall and ultimately, for Joanna, the altar rail on her wedding day.For more than two decades, we've believed that technology should be merged into the mission, not compete with it,” said Jason Jaynes, CEO of eCatholic. “Our goal, just like Saint Carlos Acutis, is to help parishes go online to bring us all offline."
The video follows Joanna, a young woman who has just moved to a new city, searching for a parish like the one she left behind. She knows what a good parish looks like and what it feels like to belong to one. She just needs to find it again.
What she finds is a community rooted in the sacramental life of the Church, a pastor who takes the care of souls seriously, and — in David — something she wasn't necessarily looking for. It's a story about vocation, about a pastor who points his flock toward holiness, and about what becomes possible when a parish has the tools to connect with the people God is sending its way. It ends, as the best parish stories do, with new life on the horizon. (Watch for the final scene. It'll be sure to plant a smile on your face.)
Produced by Spirit Juice Studios and built from a vision that marks eCatholic's more than 20 years of service to the Church, and it's the clearest picture we've ever put on screen of why we do what we do.

This is what we're building toward. We hope it moves you the way it's moved us.
