The Challenge
Turning a vision for renewal into a reality for parishes
In 2017, the Diocese of Burlington recognized a call for renewal through their diocesan synod. The community highlighted three essential goals: evangelization, supporting vibrant parishes, and improving communication. To answer this call, the diocese needed to refresh its digital front door and bridge the distance between the Chancery and the local communities it serves.
The challenge was to move toward a more connected future without adding more work for already-busy parish staff. Diocesan leaders sought a way to provide: 1) a consistent and professional look for every parish, 2) information that was easy for parishioners to find and share, and 3) a secure foundation that could simplify administrative tasks across the entire state.

A shared visual language
To ensure every parish feels like part of the larger Vermont Catholic family, the diocese provided a custom-designed website theme. This shared look sets a beautiful, professional standard for every digital front door, ensuring that no matter which parish website a visitor enters, they find a consistent and welcoming experience.

Streamlined Records and Registration
Through an integrated Church Management System (ChMS), the diocese provided a way to simplify parish life. From religious education forms to parish registration, these tools ensure that record-keeping is consistent, secure, and easier to share with the diocese, reducing the burden of paperwork for parish staff and volunteers.

Integrated Giving and Stewardship
The ecosystem includes Give & Pay to facilitate simple, secure online donations and payments directly through the parish website. This integrated approach to stewardship makes it easy for families to support their community while providing parish staff with a clear, unified view of their financial health.
