We didn’t set out to build another streaming service—we set out to help parishes engage their flock in a unique way through the power of film and storytelling.
This week, we were excited to officially introduce eCatholic VOD—a brand-new service designed to help parishes, schools, ministries, and dioceses bring people together around powerful Catholic stories.
During our live launch webinar, we shared the heart behind why we built eCatholic VOD and the opportunity we see in the Church today. Over the last few years, as we partnered with Catholic filmmakers and distributors to support theatrical releases, one thing became increasingly clear: once a Catholic film leaves theaters, there are very few mission-aligned places for it to continue reaching people—especially at the parish level.
Catholic films are meant to be more than passive entertainment.
They are resources for formation, conversation, and evangelization—best experienced in community. At the same time, many parishes want to host movie nights or screening events, but the logistics around licensing, streaming, promotion, and technical setup can feel overwhelming.
That’s where eCatholic VOD comes in.
Built on the same engagement platform parishes already know and trust, eCatholic VOD makes it simple to host Catholic film screenings in parish halls, schools, and ministry settings. From requesting a screening license to receiving a custom event page, digital marketing kit, and step-by-step hosting guides, everything is designed to remove complexity and support local communities every step of the way.

We were also honored to welcome special guests from Goya Producciones, including Oscar Delgado and Monika Higueras, who shared insights from both the creative and distribution sides of Catholic filmmaking. Their perspective reinforced why parish-based screenings matter—and how partnerships like this help Catholic films live on well beyond their theatrical run.
Thanks to our partnership with Goya Producciones, additional Catholic film titles will be added to the eCatholic VOD library very soon. Parishes can begin planning and booking screening events now, with new films becoming available throughout the year. If you weren’t able to join us live—or if you’d like to revisit the conversation—you can watch the full webinar recording above.
We’re just getting started, and we’re excited about what’s ahead. eCatholic VOD is another way we’re helping the Church engage people more deeply—through story, community, and meaningful shared experiences.
